Coach Jax is a community of North Florida Coaches working together to become better coaches. Doug Wilder hosts this group that meets on the first Monday of every month. |

On April 7, 2025, Coach Jax Attendee Dayan Sandler introduced the group to E. Michael Lillibridge's PeopleMap assessment. She described how she used this in her professional work when she was Chief of Pathology at Baptist Medical Center. She coached teams using this test to improve group communication skills. Attendees learned about the four categories along with the potential Achilles' heel for each personality type.
Four Personality Types
Just like assessments such as DISC, the Predictive Index or the Enneagram, the PeopleMap system is a tool that can be used identify behavioral trends and personality types. The test determines which personality type and communication styles describes respondents best. Dayan shared some of the strengths and weaknesses that characterized each of the four types.

Journey in Self-Discovery
Everyone who attended the April Coach Jax meeting completed the PeopleMap Assessment. Attendees guessed their personality type and compared those answers to the results. We had a lively discussion of how accurately these categories matched our own behavior. We discussed the potential to even change personality types.
We learned how each personality type may play a unique role in a team environment, requiring flexible communication styles for different individuals. We were able to use the data to evaluate our own strengths and consider the motivations that drive our decisions.
