International Jazz Day

It's International Jazz Day! This day was created "to highlight jazz and its diplomatic role of uniting people in all corners of the globe." The essence of jazz is improvisation, each musician composing on stage. The same song is never sung the same way twice.

On a personal note, I would like to honor my favorite jazz singer, Dot Wilder. Although now retired, she had a full, accomplished career as a jazz singer. (She is also my wife of 49 years)

To honor her and celebrate this day, I am excited to share some of my favorite videos of Dot's performances. Watch and enjoy below!
